What Inspires Me... I am inspired to write because of the reader I was as a kid. As a young kid, I did not like to read and had no idea why anyone bothered to read because it was boring. I was about eight when I realized that reading was like watching a movie or TV show in my head. I like to write children’s stories to engage and encourage those students I was once like. I hope to write many stories for children to read. In addition to being a writer, I am a teacher who loves to see children grow into reading. I am inspired every time a child applies what they learn about reading. I especially want children to be motivated to read literature without bribery or consequences. I am currently working on a new story about animals in their habitats. This story is written as fiction and is sure to intrigue children of all ages.
